               Your company is generally considered a good candidate for government work. If you are a GRL Level 1 company you are at the    very early stages of government contracting in terms of readiness (little to no experience and/or doesn't meet the basic registration requirements).

                                              GRL Level 1 Characteristics

                 * Is organized for profit
                 * Has a place of business in the US
                 * Operates primarily within the U.S. or makes a significant contribution to the U.S. economy through payment of                                * Is independently owned and operated
                 * Is not dominant in its field on a national basis
                 * The business may be a sole proprietorship, partnership, corporation, or any other legal form
                 * In determining what constitutes a small business, the definition will vary to reflect industry differences,
                    such as size standards
                 * Company is in an industry or field with significant U.S. Federal spending (annual spending typically meets
                   or exceeds $100 million)

Progression Steps (GRL Level 2)

  Step 1 - Complete all necessary registrations.

  Step 2 - Investigate possible certification programs.
